First, let me say that God is good and all the time God is GOOD! Happy New Year Readers. I pray that 2019 ended gracefully for you and that you are in full expectation of the miraculous to be done in your life in 2020. As I prepare to celebrate my 5th year as a published author in less than two weeks, I wanted to check in with my amazing readers and briefly recap 2019 + discuss what to expect from me in 2020.
As I mentioned it’s my 5th year so I decided to turn up the heat.
I am asking that you allow me to stretch your mind ; creatively.
I’ve been reconnected to my passion, my purpose and most importantly, my vision.
I remembered my WHY.

2019 Recap
In 2019, Love Drought was released and it was a three-part series, each full-length books. I also dropped a few shorts, Papa, Friendsgiving, Dear Santa ( Underworld) and A New Year’s Kiss.
One of my dreams came true in 2019, I successfully launched Morning Glory, a coffee and it’s good yall super good.

It’s safe to say that more shorts are coming in 2020. I have a LOT lol. I’ve enjoyed penning the short stories. Since I am naturally a fast writer, these have been exciting to get out in a day or two.
So far I am only confirmed for two literary events that are back-to-back, more events may be added to the schedule and I’ll keep you guys updated on that as well.
The two events are Indie Love in New Orleans and Sister Girls Book Club Behind The Pen in New York. I’m looking forward to both. Tickets are on sale for those events.
AUDIOBOOKS are a thing and the readers want them.

2020
I am extremely elated to present my 2020 releases to you. At this time I don’t see any series in my future but that can always change.
My goal is to write lengthier, detailed and complex stories in 2020. I can only grow from here and I believe that my best work is coming forth.
My first release of 2020 introduces a new set of characters in a standalone. The only familiar character will be Dr. Mighty-Moore, everyone’s favorite therapist.
I’m not sure when the book will drop but it will be in the 1st QTR.
Of course, Ashley and Patrick will return for Valentine’s Day, so if you haven’t read Friendsgiving & A New Year’s Kiss, please do so!
Love Drought IV is a major possibility.
I know everyone has been impatiently waiting on LIGT3 and we shall see what happens this year.

I don’t like announcing things prematurely so for the rest of my ideas / goals / intentions for 2020, I rather show yall than tell yall, LOL!
I do plan on blogging more frequently this year which is another announcement in itself.
Is She The Reason remains my most successful release to date and I believe it was the simplicity of the cover + promotion, marketing and word of mouth. I’m applying that same energy all 2020.
It’s all happening in God’s timing. I have yet to sit dow and reflect on my goals because in all honestly, I just want to go with the flow and let God do the rest. I have been successful these past 4 years and I would like another successful year as an independent author, blogger, and influencer.
